The short version
The figures you type into the calculators never leave your device. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no cookies. Your browser keeps your figures so the page remembers them; nothing is sent to us.

What your browser stores, and why
The site uses your browser’s local storage, not cookies. Everything below stays on your device, is readable only by this site, and is removed when you clear your browser data for this site.

These are needed for features you use, so the law does not require a consent banner for them. Nothing is stored for offline use unless you ask for it.
Shared links
If you use “Copy link” (“Copy shareable link” on the home page), your figures are put into the link itself. Anyone you send it to can see them. When the link is opened, the figures reach our web hosting provider as part of the page address.
What our web hosting provider sees
Our web hosting provider receives the standard details of each request when a page loads. These are your IP address, the page asked for, the time and your browser type. It uses them to deliver the site and protect it from attacks, which is our legitimate interest in running the site. We don’t use them to identify you. The provider may process them outside the UK, under the safeguards UK law requires for international transfers.
If you email us
We use your email address and message only to reply and to fix what you report. Our reason is our legitimate interest in answering you. We keep the email for up to 12 months after the conversation ends, then delete it. We never share it or add you to a mailing list.
If this changes
We don’t sell or share personal data. If we ever add anything beyond what is described here, this page will say so first. Anything that needs your consent will ask for it before it runs.
Children
The site is for working professionals and is not aimed at children.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of personal data we hold about you. You can also ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict or stop using it, or send it to you in a reusable form. In practice, the only personal data we could hold is an email you sent us. Email [email protected] and we will reply within one month.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, email us first: we acknowledge every complaint within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to the data protection regulator where you live.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date at the top.
